How Can We Truly Make a Change?
Achieving deep, meaningful, and long-lasting change can be a formidable challenge. Many individuals experience bursts of inspiration that drive them to implement significant alterations in their lives. However, maintaining these major changes often proves difficult, leading to a sense of overwhelm with our commitments.
This is where the concept of MicroMitzvah comes into play. By adopting a single, manageable commitment, one can focus on simplicity. The key is to remain dedicated to this small act consistently, day after day.
Similar to water gradually eroding a rock, while the effects of this change may not be immediately evident, they are nonetheless felt over time. Engaging in a modest yet meaningful adjustment fosters a rewarding sense of achievement. From this initial step, additional changes can unfold organically, driven by the focus and enjoyment derived from that first simple act.
As the saying goes: “If you're persistent - you get it. If you're consistent - you keep it.”
Keep It Small, Keep It Going!
The MicroMitzvah app encourages users to participate in a 40-day challenge. Select one small action and commit to it consistently. If you happen to miss a day or two, there's no need for concern; we all have such moments. Simply re-engage and continue on your journey.

About the Movement:
The MicroMitzvah project was initiated in loving memory of Azi Koltai, a remarkable 13-year-old who tragically lost his life in the Meron event in 2021. Azi embodied the spirit of small acts of kindness and respect, consistently striving to do what was right for the right reasons. His affectionate nicknames for his siblings were "micro" and "tiny," reflecting his playful nature as the youngest child in the family. These principles inspired the creation of the “micro-mitzvah” initiative.
